Just decided to call in home to visit the family

Post by Liz »

Welcome to all of the Newbies. The family seems to have grown quite a bit. There seems to be an awful lot since last time I looked in.

Havn't been around here much lately. Had a lot going on in my life. Apart from my own problems Robert was in hospital for 12 days with cellulitis, My younger sister has breast cancer and my elder sister's husband has prostrate cancer that has metastisized & it is just a matter of time for him.

We all seem to be falling apart at the seams. Another two brothers are pretty crook with heart & other problems as well. The healthiest one is my second brother who has had health problems for most of his life & now seems to be tootling along fairly well.

I have just started to ride my trike a little way when I feel up to it. My legs are not the best but I think it may strenghten them a bit if I persevere. The neurological problems wont go away but I want to keep moving around as long as possible. I want to go to Adelaide in a couple of weeks for a Convention so need to be a bit fitter.

We have had some really hot days for this time of year. Then, on the first day of Spring we get colder again. Can't work it out. It is really beautiful weather now but we need more rain before summer comes. We had a bit a while back & now all of the new growth is tinder dry. Doesn't look too good for the bushfire season. I noticed the fires over in California & also in Greece.

Love

Liz

It's really great to hear from you, Liz. I'm sorry you are still having problems on top of the family health problems. I know it isn't easy for you.

Hoping Australia will get some more rain soon and enough to do some good at controlling the fire season but not so much that flooding becomes a big problem.

Please take care and I hope you are able to go to the convention and enjoy yourself.

Love, Shirley

Liz, So happy to see you on the board.

Sorry things are still topsy turvy for you and you are always in my prayers, as well as your family.
