Mary's Gone Crackers WARNING from Consumer Affairs

Post by JLH »

"As someone who avoids gluten containing foods, I was excited to see another gluten free product. I had bought "Mary's Gone Crackers" crackers many times and was eager to try Sticks and Twigs. Imagine my surprise and horror upon chewing Sticks and Twigs for the first time, I broke my tooth. Not only is it broken, but it broke so deep in my tooth that I required periodontal surgery to make it possible to be fitted for a crown. The company is not responding to my requests to pay for dental repair work and to reformulate their product (I am not the only one who has broken a tooth on it, I found out later)."

Oh My..........

So sorry about the dental woes and thank you for the warning.

Hope the company will soon follow through.

Love, Shirley

After re-reading your post title, I'm not sure that it was you who broke the tooth or if it was in an article you read.

Hi Joan:

I would make sure I kept calling or e-mailing the company until they do something about it. If you have proof that others have broken a tooth with this product then next time you contact them I would let them know that if they DO NOT respond that you are contacting the Better Business Burea to investigate this problem. I'm almost certain they won't want further problems with this.

Love and God Bless:

Sorry it wasn't clear but I am NOT the one with the complaint. I only posted it for a warning.

Hi Joan,

I bought that product once and with false teeth it was absolutely impossible to eat. Like biting into a rock.
