feeling crummy

Post by barbaranoela »

Today I awoke--to a very nice day--but my body wasnt agreeing---
I was shivering--shaking--tummy unhappy---so I kept bundled up and acted like a child  -

Guess a little viral intrusion?? no fever--just a steady 100 and I kept snuggled up in bed---

Just got up to have a snack and catch up with all the birthday wishes and since I am on the puter ---*hey,why not roam around all the rooms and see whats happening--

As L. says--this puter will CALL U anytime~~~~well there are always a few moments when U feel a bit better and why waste them in bed??? RIGHT!!!!

Hope all U new additions to our family will bring U some comfort and more knowledge into understanding all the *woes* that U are going thru~~~~
I can relate ~~~~ but hang in cus U can get back to feeling HUMAN~~~~

Hi Barbara,

I hope you feel better soon! Your post is a prime example of what I love about this forum. Even when feeling cruddy the folks on this board maintain their resilient optimism and determination to accomplish something. I think that's another area where doctors underestimate patients sometimes. A few months after finally getting a diagnosis and a combination of medications that worked, my doctor asked me if I'd started back to work yet. I told him that other than the occasional really bad days, I never stopped working. He was floored. I moved earlier this year and now I get a chuckle every day when I pull into the parking lot at my new job. Being a potty watcher, I find it ironic that my office at my new job is next to the sewage treatment plant. Hopefully I could give you a chuckle with that one while you're putering.

Anyway, give that virus what's what and feel better soon!

Mrs. Columbo,

I hope it doesn't last long - it already found out that it can't keep a good Noo Yawker down, so maybe it will throw up it's hands, pack up it's lamp, and it's bedroom suite, (or whatever it is that you threatened Mr. L. with, a time or two  ), and leave.

Get well soon, ya hear?

I hope your bug is a short one! But thank goodness for computers, because you can stay in touch with the world even when at home! Or maybe that isn't good, if you just feel like crawling into your shell away from everything. :turtle:

Hi Barbara,

So sorry you are feeling so crummy and do hope it passes quickly. Was also wondering where you were but then again, I can't seem to get on enough to the board - work, home and all. Keep your chin up and talk soon.

Love, Maggie
