Kenny started out as a grease monkey(like L) but than went on to become his boss--their friendship never faulted---
We lost touch after all the guys went different ways (after retirement) but L went searching the web and found Kenny --gave a call and the guys are once again together--
Six of us met for lunch a few weeks ago---and today is our trek to visit them at their home---WHICH Kenny and his brothers built!!! Take about TALENT----U would drool over the homes that they built----yet Kenny liked fixing elevators rather than using his talents in other ways--
The best drink that Kenny luved was---PEPSIE COLA!!!! yup---when the guys met for breakfast--there was Kenny with a bottle of Pepsie~~and in our party days--there was Kenny with his PEPSIE!!! So--Lou is running out for a 6 pack of Pepsie---as a house warming gift!!!
L wanted to bring a cake but I sorta talked him outer it cus John and Betty are bringing a special cake---a birthday cake---tis L's birthday so this will be special for L too~~~and a shocker---along with some little tear drops--L. will get very emotional over this--
How fortunate we are that there are 4 retired guys from OTIS--that still see each other--fortunate cus we all live in New City---DARN---but they never take us gals along when they meet for Lunch or Breakfast~~but thats when us gals do our thing~~~like SHOP--and not for food either--
I cant wait to see the look on L's face when they come out with the cake~~~
Had to share a *happy-day* with U all~~~~

Barbara---forgot to add--tomorrow I have a bridal shower--Betty is soon to have another DIL--and do U know what they do now with the gifts???
NO WRAPPING--just stick ya card on and lay the gifts on the table---(in the original box that they are in tho--)
Saves time--from unwrapping and cleaning up the mess of wrapping paper all over the place
