The third time was a charm and the manager came to the table to apologize and tell me that my meal would be free.
We also stopped at an Italian restaurant called Maggiano's on our way home from my MIL's funeral. The chef came to our table and tailor-made my meal. It had corn pasta, a plain marinara sauce, chicken breast and asparagus. It tasted fine and I felt somewhat normal. Next time I'll bring some of my homemade GF bread, and eat it with olive oil.
