I AM HOME!!!!!
Hello everyone, I was released yesterday evening on 6mg Entocort and 800 mg of Asacol 4X a day. My doc tried 3mg of Entocort for one day and the D came back so I shall probably be on 6 for awhile.
I want to thank you all for the good wishes, the help you gave Lori, Dee and Tex, and the oh so lovely flowers! Everyone who came in my room commented on how beautiful they are.
I also received several cards with inspiring and heartwarming wishes which I want to thank you all for. Also, Luce called and brightened my day one day last week. The hospital was so dry that effected my one vocal cord to the point I could barely talk by the time I got home yesterday.
I just waited too long to seek help and cooked my own goose. Won`t happen again, I can assure you.
My GI thinks it is entirely possible that the Flouride I mentioned back in July was the culprit. We discussed Gluten, soy, etc., and he doesn`t think any of them are my triggers since I have been in remission for so long and eating anything I want with no problem.
It will take me some time to catch up on posts but I hope everyone is doing well.
Love you all, Carol -In reading this for errors I find that it seems terribly disjointed. My apologies. I am very weak....guess my brain is, as well.

Hi Carol,
It's good to see you posting again. You've been away waaaaaaaay too long.
I hope that your strength returns quickly, so that you can enjoy Thanksgiving to the fullest.
Thanks for the update.
Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
