Thanks All!

I decided to treat myself a little (OK, a lot) extra this year and ordered a Whynter ice cream maker. I've been looking at it and reading the reviews for a couple of years. It never goes on sale. No more gummy frozen specialty items (because no one else buys them and they've been in the store's freezer for months) or surprise new additives in my slushy or frozen concoctions! Most of my family is diabetic and all the no sugar added ice creams out there have things like sorbitol in them which wreak havoc on the digestive tract. Dad can sniff out an ice cream shop miles away, so I think I'll be on the hook to come up with good diabetic friendly ice cream for my parents now too. Hmmm... probably should have ordered a travel case for the ice cream maker for those visits to Mom and Dad. It will most definitely be required luggage. Dad doesn't let us kids spoil him with much, so it's the least I can do and it's fun when I can come up with a project I can do with him and he gets this ear-to-ear grin like a kid on Christmas morning.

Thanks again!
