Barbara:

Thank You so much for the reply to my post.

Have been very busy for several weeks making my own gifts for family and friends for Christmas. I informed my children that Christmas this year was going to be hand-made gifts. At first there were a couple raised eye brows but I've stood my grounds and am following through on something I've had on my 'bucket list' for quite sometime. I have always wanted a Christmas where the gifts were hand-made that came from the heart. I'm anxious to see which of my children and grandchildren follow through with my request. LOL

When you live on a fixed income and our medications can become so very expensive adjustments need to be made and so I'm making things affordable for David and myself and avoiding the commercialization of such a Blessed Season.

Hope your Christmas is Blessed and Happy in every way.

Love and God Bless:

Jodi---I think hand made gifts are the best--as I am not talented in hand made items---it would be their favorite or *most*favorites that they wanted when they were younger---
As they went out on their *own* and if they were in need of a BIG item--it would ,at times, turn into a Merry Christmas--Happy Birthday/Happy Anniversary thing--

Debbie--still single---so thats kinda hard to go shopping for a *mate* yet she is the type to take different feats--such as fencing!! YES I mean that----Oriental stenciling(as best I describe it)--hostess at--what they call the *HOOT*--jazzy swing type dancing--gives her time at the animal shelters--is also involved in a singing group-( where they entertain the seniors and Christmas being their most beautiful musical arrangements---

Doug --use to do stained glass pieces--but a screw up operation--sorta hindered him--and for megga years he hasnt done any but I found out that I am Xpecting a most beautiful piece-which he has been working on for a long time---and I always called her the *blue Lady* due to her floating in air dressed in this BLUE flowing piece of angelic looking gown~~

He once said *mom--one day I will try to get her together* and he called me the other day --Xcited to say the BLUE LADY will be coming!!! For years he has slowly been putting her together!!
I cant wait for that~~~~

Lynn--needless to say---is strong and holds up like a rock--for her it could be the smallest thing going--the most important is being with *family*--thats always the best gift for her and having her girls--Kait and Kris--(plus its her way--tough if U dont like it) she has been my challange in life --a survivor she is~~~and very dedicated to her church~~~sponsers a child too--

SEE-now U know all about my family!! Start to say a few words and before one knows it the family history comes out~~

Luve to U--

Barb:

Thank You for sharing your family with me. LOL I also know that every family has their challenge child and in our family it's our Kara Ann with her beautiful smile and her Irish Auburn Red Hair that you can not even come close to from a box. LOL There have been times that she was such a challenge that she would put both David and myself in tears with some of her adventures in exploring everything life has to offer.

Renee and William are both pretty well planted with their feet on the ground except for the fact that each hates the others choice of 'mate'. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This makes it very hard sometimes to enjoy holiday gatherings wondering who's going to say the wrong thing first and who's going to get up and leave unexpectedly. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now April Jodi; my very own Cherub Angel who left this world to watchover me 39yrs. ago is forever a constant presence in my life. She was only 4 months old but she touched every heart that came in contact with her while she was here. My Forever Cherub. In my heart and head she will always be an infant who touched so many in my world while she lived.

Enough of the family sharing. I thank you once again my friend for sharing your family with me and I certainly hope your Christmas is Blessed in every way.

Love & All The Blessings of Christmas:
Jodi
