A prayer for Haiti

Post by Tessa »

Hi my dear friends, queridos amigos

before posting an enquiry (on a different topic), I would like to express that I am really shocked and sad because of the terrible earthquake that has taken place in Haiti... Many people have died and survivors are suffering the consequences of it...

It is so sad...

Please, do not forget to pray for them tonight. The more people, the more possitive energy we will send them.
If you do not use to pray, before going to sleep, if you just think about them and imagine help getting there and saving lives, that will be ok too. Thank you.
Love,
Tessa

Tessa ---this was a most horrible issue to see on TV this morning---
Like U---I always pray for all that are suffering from such a disaster---or any disaster
the world just seems to be spinning out of control~~~and so many lives are taken away---

It's an unbelievable disaster, especially for a country that is already impoverished. I don't know how they will recover. It is haunting to think of people buried in rubble, crying out for help. They are in my prayers.

And in my prayers too. What I have seen and read is just so terribly sad for a nation that is so impoverished. Will they recover - I truly hope so.

Morning Again,

I so wanted to do something to help the devastation and went to the Mercy Corps site (Sally's charity of choice) and donated in her memory. Sure my donation was not like Morgan Stanley's $1MM to Red Cross, but it will help someone to maybe have a week's worth of meals. Also feel the $1MM from Morgan Stanley was a bit of a contribution from many of us.

Love, Maggie

The CEO "only' makes $565,000!

CARE and UNICEF both rate 4 stars.
