Update on Tex

Hi All,

Tex just called to let me know that the bleeding has started up again.

Fortunately, he is still in the ICU. The plan now is for the radiologist to inject him with a radioisotope, which will travel thru the bloodstream and hopefully pinpoint the exact location of the bleeding (since they couldn't identify the site of the bleed earlier during the colonoscopy). If this fails, then surgery will probably be necessary to locate the cause.

Tex is in good spirits but, of course, worried about the continued bleeding. I told him that I thought the current plan is a good one. He seems confident about this approach. I'll be speaking with him tomorrow, unless there are further developments tonight.

It is just not the same when he's not around here. I am sending positive thoughts and prayers for a speedy diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Oh, that doesn't sound good. I'm glad he stayed in the hospital. I hope they can find the source of the bleeding without surgery. I'll keep him in my prayers.

tex, my god what is going on, in ICU, hospital, bleeding that won't stop, I hope they will find soon wat causing it. All the best here, also from Holland and get well soon.
