The snow is coming down here and inch an hour.
We are expected to have 8-10" on the ground by tomorrow.
I know Margie is getting slammed also in Mansfield.
Jack is driving home from up North, and has phoned me 5 times today to keep me posted on his travels.
He works part-time for an auto auction company and delivers & picks up cars, trucks, etc., that have either sold at the auction or dealers getting rid of some of their inventory.
It was like the calm before the storm here before it started.

Hi Dee!!!

I know, it's really something! They are now saying up to 30" of snow for us, which would be a record. Also saying 2-3" per hour overnight and stong winds. Right now we only have about 2", but you will get it before we will.

I hope Jack makes it home soon and safely. Most of the businesses here are closing down at 6PM. Keep in touch and we can compare notes.

Now they've upped it to a foot of snow for our area.
Jack made it home safely.

He walked in the door and mind you we rarely have a cocktail and he asked for a Vodka Tonic! LOL! Said the roads and visibility were awful.
I haven't seen a foot of snow since my childhood and we's go out for hours making snow tunnels and sledding.
Not going there now!! Although, I'd love to go tobogganing!!!!

We have well over a foot of snow and it is still coming down!
At this point, we are snowed in.
Hopefully, the neighbor that plows our driveway will make it thru today.

SO glad Jack made it back home OK and I don't blame him for needing a drink. It's really stressful driving in stuff like that.

Hopefully you both will stay warm and snug until you can get out.

We now have 24" and it's still snowing! I think we'll be socked in for a few days at this rate. But it is beautiful.............

I knew your area was going to really get dumped on!
Glad to see that you still have power.
I still have that concern here.
Still waiting for someone to plow out our driveway.
No way would I let Jack shovel it!

Hello My Friend:
Sounds to me like you & Jack should just cozy up next to each other with warm blankets until this storm passes. I agree, NO shoveling snow for either you or Jack! Stay safe & warm and no going out on the roads unless it's an emergency.

Polly Wolly and Dee -

yep - we are pretty much snowed in here for the next few days! Thankfully Larry thinks it's fun to go out and snowblow and plow our drive along with the neighbors. Our door was almost closed off from the deep, drifting snow! Thansfully, it wasn't - dogs would be walking around with their legs crossed!

I hear we are in for more on Tuesday! WOW I can't imagine 24" and still snowing!!!

Dee - glad Jack got home ok - no one should be out in this stuff! We are under a level 2 snow emergency - no one out unless necessary! YIKES Glad we were prepared!

Jack pushed his way out of the back door this morning.

Well we got slammed too!

2nd largest snowfall in Philadelphia area. We got 30.6" of snow and thank heavens for the gentleman who showed up to snowblow the driveway. Just got home from a 2 mile walk to take picutres and take in the beauty of the snowfall.

Everybody keep safe. Also, we are looking at a possibel 8" more on Wednesday. Work?! - not!!

I'm starting to think that perhaps it was good that I had to return to Fl. for the winter.......
Perhaps there will be a milder winter next year so I can get back into practice. HaHa

I see another storm is supposed to be in the area tomorrow *sigh*

They are saying probably another foot in our area overnight Tuesday until Wednesday night. Work is not happening if the snow does.
