Snow pictures

Post by Bifcus16 »

I loved Dee's picture of her backyard covered in snow. Snowbound people, please put up some more for us to see!

For those who live in sunnier climes it is hard to imagine real people living with snow like that. It's always divorced from reality - like in the movies. Yes, I have been to Canada and Europe skiing in winter, and to the Aussie skifields regularly, but it isn't the same as just normal life snowed in.

Agreed Lyn
having lived in NSW and Qld for majority of my life here in Australia i have never seen or experienced 'real snow' in my lifetime. I am not sure a sleety cold morning in the northern tablelands of NSW counts somehow.

i did complain about our humid sticky weather here in Brisbane the other day but thinking about the impact of huge snowfalls (ie trapped in your house) is a bit surreal.

Under another winter storm warning for tomorrow & Wednesday.
Looks like Margie, Polly & Maggie are going to get it again, also.

Thanks Dee,

It looks lovely. Something so pure about snow. But I imagine the car won't be leaving the garage for a while!

Keep 'em coming.

Will try to post some pictures tomorrow from the weekend snow - it was unbelievable for those of you who don't get snow. Will try to get some more of the one coming - though I am not looking forward to it.

Love, Maggie
