Polly--have to add to what U said

Post by barbaranoela »

I know Wayne doesnt feel* personally *obligated to jump in and greet all the newbees/or the old beez--what he feels comes from his HEART-to help us all at any time and with any info that he can add---which we all know has been *bundles of stuff* that some would never even dream of investigating~~~and that includes me----who was totally ignorant of so many issues regarding Colitis --and the what ifs---ands--could beez---of many things!!!!
He himself that has suffered so much---jumps in with his knowledge to guide all that need a helping hand!!!

Wayne's caring is an incredable feature---as each one of us are when we can jump in and see that we have *helped* someone with the smallest complaint!!!

Absolutely! Couldn't agree more. He is the most incredible researcher I have ever known! And caring to the nth degree.

I know myself and for sure others have their thoughts on Wayne.
How could we not???
To think of a complete stranger to most of us, someone that we have never met in person.
A remarkable man who has taken a task on where most doctors would never take the time or initative to investigate.
He has embarked on a mission of research, to learn himself, then to pass along and to teach people all over the world, so he may help one to fully understand the dynamics of Microscopic Colitis and other diseases, giving them hope that will get well.
He has showed himself to be one of the most unselfish, giving, sincere, compassionate, person, to all that have and will come across his path on this board.
The union on this message board can not be compared to another and we are all family and their is one HERO that has kept us and this board together...
Bless You Wayne

Absolutely. I'm amazed that Wayne not only reads and posts responses every evening, but checks and responds to messages throughout his work day. We quickly realized that something was wrong because a few hours passed without a post from him. That's how dedicated he is to this group.

When I think of Tex I think of these words (by the Australian poet Adam Lindsay Gordon)
Life is mostly froth and bubble,
Two things stand like stone,
Kindness in another's trouble,
Courage in your own.
Best wishes, Ant

Tex has always taken each and everyone of us under his wing and helped guide through our acceptance of our disease. I know in my heart the God has His reasons but the human side of me like so many on this board are sadden because Tex doesn't just take care of himself, he also has taken care of us.
Never has he ever implied that any question was stupid. To him there were NO STUPID questions and he does his best to answer all of them.
When so many of us were consumed by depression he was right there giving it everything he had to help pull us back to where we needed to be. He NEVER once gave up on any of us.
Let's all face the honest truth...his absence at this time really hurts our hearts.

Gabes

The poem is by the Australian poet Adam Lindsay Gordon, so you have more right to use it than me! All I did was remember the words.

All the very best, Ant
