GOT MY STAINED GLASS !!!!

Post by barbaranoela »

My son Doug----has such natural talent----it took him about a year to make me this piece that I so luved----and of all years NOT to go to AZ. where I could have hugged him (slightly) when he would have presented me this piece---I was here in NY!!! BAH HUMBUG!!!

Due to his handicapped condition--it took him about a year to work on this piece--which I so wanted---Deb knew he was working on it~~~~
He couldnt stand to long--in order to cut the pieces and then smooth the edges---set then in place---but he did it ~~~~ and he finished it with a most gorgeous wood frame--

I brag about Doug cus anything he did was awesome--played ball and had hoped for a career in baseball---picked up a tennis racket --and slammed away!! People always said---*nah--he had to have training* and he didnt--he is a natural~~~(my dad was in the minor leagues hoping for a baseball career also---)

And all due to the fact of the friggin miserable kids that waited for him and would slam him down upon the concrete--causing back issues(and never tell me cus *boys dont go home and cry to mommy) and then that neuro that removed 4 disc's from his neck--never putting in a rod to hold up his head--thus causing the verterbre to gradually collapse--and what did we know?? Doug never saw any part of his dreams---
Plus the neuro that worked on him was booted outta the AMA due to un-necessary operations--scewing other peoples up--until finally someone sued and then he was ousted--we were past the time frame to bring in a case for Doug-

Anyway---the stained glass is just awesome and naturally will be hung in my living room window--

well ran my mouth off enuf----I do that often~~~what can I say~~~

Dear Barbara

The story of your son Doug is heartbreaking. But it is great he is so creative and he can give you such a lovely and loving piece!

Bestest wishes to you and all your family who I feel I know through you.

I'm so glad you have the piece of his work that you love. I know you treasure it dearly. So sad about his back/neck problems.
