Say it isn't true. More and more evidence is accumulating that in the long run, exercise provides very little, (if any), benefit regarding weight loss. Now that's not saying that exercise does not provide health benefits, but don't count on it for long-term weight loss, unless you follow a rather dedicated, and intense, long-term program.

Agree-----when I was doing YOGA--I didnt lose weight --but I did keep my body toned up
I wanted to go back----but due to my big toe--still healing from that fungus :twisted: I was advised NOT TO due to the fact that having to use ya feet for certain stances --it would continue to aggravate it---and I LEARNED that last year when me and Carmen continued with our Yoga classes!!!
No wonder tis taking a year and a day for that toe to heal!!!

So what I do at home is use my hand weights----and do some low pact--xercizers that eliminate my toe digging into the floor!!

Of course---stop buying ICE CREAM would certainly be of great help--

I have found exercise to be bad for my health.....everytime in find an exercise I like and really get in to, I hurt myself and then have to stop the exercise to heal! I was really getting into my running, training for a half marathon last year, got up to 9 miles on my longest run, then found out the painful way that I had an accesory bone (extra bone) in my left foot that was in the tendon in front of my ankle and had to have surgery to remove it. Needless to say I didn't get to run the marathon :sad: The hardest part though is that my kids were really starting to get into training with me, (and liking it) when the doc said no more high impact workouts unless I have the surgery. So, I did the surgery and hope to start training again soon!
