MAJOR BLIZZARD+ NO POWER

We had a horrible storm---plus last night(thursday night) about 10PM we lost power and today Friday---the power just came on on 6PM----boy was I a miserable person---
It was awful---
What *in all thats holy*what do U do when POWER is out all over Rockland!!!--U sit by the window and try to be interested in reading a book~~~

A big HAPPY DANCE to have the puter back---- Xpecting more for the whole weekend---but not supposed to be as bad as today!!!

Kinda makes you less likely to complain about the high electricity bills when you see what it's like to live w/o it, isn't it? Cannot imagine life w/o it.

I'm glad to hear that the power is back on. Yep, no power sucks. As you pointed out, it's hard to pretend that you're enjoying reading a book, or whatever, while you're waiting and wondering when it's going to be turned back on.

we were freezing last night----I slept with my heavy robe--knee high socks plus a pair of GLOVES!!!

and to keep the house a bit warm today we put the stove jets on to warm the kitchen~~~

dont think I would ever survive the cave-peoples way of life~~~

night again- cant wait to jump into my electric heated blanket that covers the bed!!!!
