Good source of products for the aussie's

Post by Gabes-Apg »

Ladies (and any other aussies who might be browsing)

came across this website today, not sure if you have seen it before.

http://www.aussiehealthproducts.com.au/about.php

most of the products they have on the site are available at coles or wollies or iga or the health food store. I have to say i am finding it hard to get around to all the various retailers to get the products and on occaision some have been out of stock of the product i like (which is frustrating)
i am willing to pay for the postage for the ease of getting some products.

i made these yesterday - they are really nice.....

and warmed one up for my morning tea and it was still quite light and fresh.
only took 5 mins to mix up, 15 mins to cook, washed up while they were in the oven.
easy peasy....

Thanks Gabes.

That is a brand I haven't tried yet.

I made some bread recently called "the real bread' or something like that from Coles. It used yeast and was just like normal homemade bread - including the heavy bit in the middle from being impatient with it rising

I have some more to give it another go when I have time.

I guess I am lucky because my local health food store renamed itself "the allergy centre" and decided to focus on having GF/DF/SF/NF/EF etc stuff. They have a freezer full of amazing GF goodies - including things like neenish tarts (GF/DF), lamingtons, cherry slices, caramel slice (that one has dairy). That meant the Coles alongside also sells more GF stuff, so they stock more ......

that is great news for you, I went to a different woolworths this week and they had a new item GF worshitshire sauce... great for flavouring casseroles

I am avoiding yeast so this product was great it is not the same as bread but it was easier than trying to make cornbread from scratch. i get sick of eating rice cakes. at least this is something i can make and bring to work for morning teas or to a friends place for a meal......

it was done at the same time as Mardi Grais (the gay and lesbian mardi gras) so 1/3 of the participants of the photo shoot were probably from overseas.

Barbara, Mr. Louis should enjoy Seattle...... Each summer there is the locally famous Fremont Solstice Festival and Parade, which I've attended as I have family in Seattle. The start of the parade is what my granddaughter calls "nakey people on bicycles", usually with lots of body paint. The motto of the Festival is “Delibertus Quirkus” – Freedom to be Peculiar. Gabes, I don't think you'll ever see me in the parade wearing nothing but a PP tattoo........
