Tex,
I was on this site last night for the first time in awhile and discovered that you had been very ill recently.
I sent a post last night, but I don't think it went through.
So, I will try again to let you know how happy I am that you are out of danger and back home and on the mend.
I have always enjoy reading your posts and it's good to see that you are well enough to be back on this forum so soon after major surgery. See...it just goes to show....you can't keep a good man down!!!
Tex, you are indeed a wonderful educator, and I, like most of the others on this forum, have learned so much about MC (as well as other health and medical issues) from reading your posts.
All the kind remarks (and concerns) written by fellow members, serves to show how much you mean to us. It's obvious that No ONE is more how highly regarded or respected on this forum than our TEX! You have given generously of your time and knowledge to almost every member on this forum at one time or another.
Thank you for making this website a truly GREAT source of MC information.....the BEST on the internet! So stay strong because I (and I'm sure all the others on here) look forward to reading many, many more posts from you.
Best regards,
Issy

Issy,
Thank you for the kind words - they left me a little misty-eyed.
Actually, many, many members here are very generous with their time and knowledge, because I've learned more here, than I ever imagined was possible.
You're most welcome, and thank you for your kind support, and thank you for being a part of this wonderful family.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Tex,
I agree wholeheartedly. There are numerous people on this site who are dedicated to helping others deal with MC.
And for that I am very grateful.
Unfortunately (for me), my work consumes much of my time, thus I am unable to visit this site as often as I would like.
Nevertheless, your contributions have made a very significant impact on my own understanding of MC and all that it entails.
Well Tex, you gave us all quite a scare {even though I learned after the fact :-) } and we're all pulling for your speedy recovery.
So keep on keeping on......partner!!! (you are from Texas.....right?!)
May God Bless,
Issy

Issy,
I'm just happy that I could be of some help, and it's absolutely fantastic to be back here again. For a while, that was definitely in question.
Yep, I was born and raised right here in the Lone Star State.
Many thanks,
Tex
