While I was away!

Post by annie oakley »

Where to begin>>>mmmm! Well....The last few months have been different to say the least. My hip surgery was a huge success. I had a great surgeon. He's young but knows his stuff for sure  I had home health care that the surgeon set ou which allowed me to take therapy at home. The therapist "Fred" said that I way ahead of schedule. If he said do 10 of this excercise, I did 20. :BSFlag: :elephant:
Then I had issues with the computer  But I am back. Still locked out of email but will fix that.
My 19 yr old grandson is in Army Bootcamp and about to graduate in 2 or 3 weeks, Problem here is......he is going to go to Ahfganistan. We don"t know if is coming home first or shippin right out...... :yikes: :hissyfit: He may go to sniper school.
I have been having alot of trouble with the osteo and ruematoid nearly everywhere but the new hip, the new hip is great. I did however fall today. Not sure about the ribs yet but everything else seems ok. Tomorrow I may be sore. :shithead:
There's more, but right now am real happy to be back with ya'll. There are alot of new people sense I have been gone. I look forward to getting to know all of you. Love Oma

Oma,

Sorry about that fall. I certainly hope you didn't break or bruise any ribs, (or anything else, for that matter).

I'm not sure what the Army's policy is on that, but hopefully, they will let your grandson come home, before he goes overseas.

Love,
Tex

I think The ribs are just bruised and sore, I don't have any problems breathing. I do however have bruises in my back and side as well as on the 10 in scare from my hip surgery. Bit thank the good lord nothing broke and the hip did not dislocate. The surgery was this last september. Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Hi Oma,

Sorry about the fall and hope you heal right up. Great report on the hip and glad to hear you are doing well - other than the fall.

Love, Maggie

Ya Know, I have to say that the Surgeon I had was fantastic. Dr Jason Defee in San Angelo Texas, I did however take the attitude that I was going to do well also. :crutches: I was so suprised that I did not hurt that new hip when I fell :shithead: But I didn't.
Love as always Oma
:thanks:
