Hi All,
Here's a sad case where the aggressive use of drugs to treat a young patient with an IBD, resulted in the disease becoming so bad that he ended up losing his entire colon. His doctors blamed their mistakes on a "new" form of IBD, connected with a genetic mutation. I blame it on their refusal to try a treatment based on dietary changes, before resorting to the use of powerful drugs.

I think of her every so often, also, and wonder how her child is doing. I realize that we can't help everyone who needs help, but it's a shame when a child is the one to get hurt, because they don't have any say so in the matter.
