More blood drawn today....

Post by Rome »

So they called me this morning and asked If I could come back because the GI do added some more labs and they needed more blood. Apparently she has decided to go ahead and get the blood drawn for celiac/gluten sensitivity. She should have these results in a few days, hopefully I will too! Of course, the Enterolab results should be ready in a couple of weeks or sooner.

You know, I also had to turn in a stool sample today, and of course, yesterday and this morning were not a normal day for me, and I couldn't go!!!! So, I know if I eat I will (should) go. I know that cereal and milk usually work, so I had a bowl of shredded wheat, and within minutes I was ready with my sample to take to the lab! I will probably pay for that all day, but you gotta do what you gotta do.....

Til next time!

Good luck with the test procedures.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Good Luck but would trust the Entrolab results more.

Shredded wheat would sure do it for me!
