Good for you! You're really making a good impression in San Diego, and you're definitely getting the word out.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Olivia
that is fantastic news....
meeting people with similar conditions takes away the alienation type feeling (that you might be feeling at work)
did they discuss treatments or diet?
hope your days continue to be positive!

Oh, you are a tiger, Olivia, good for you. Put that frustration to good use and do good things with it, I'm very proud of you. I hope you are taking care of our dear Olivia at the same time, aren't you??

HEY
We did talk all about diet, foods that worked, ones that don't, gluten free all kinds. There is also a store called Whole Foods that has a nutritionist who will print out all the gluten free products in the store and take you around the store to help you. I also met a crohns patiet on entocort. We spend 2 hours talking about everything. it was awesome! lol. i'm doing my best to stay hydrated. i have a colapsed vein from the IVs. other than that i'm pretty good today! how is everyone else doing? work is so boring! I'm ready to go home!

it is wonderful to hear you happy and more accepting of this demon!
I am so so - after 5 days of having normal BM and thinking i had the diet, small amt of meds combo sorted, there was a set back last night. Trying not to let it get me down.
It is Friday morning here, end of the week, we have a 3 day weekend in commeration of Anzac Day (WW1 & WW2 rememberance)
no news on the interview or the job i applied for so far... i suppose no news is good news but, being the control freak that i am it is difficult to just be patient!
hope you have a great weekend and the moving prep is going well

I'm doing great, Olivia, and am especially happy to see you becoming a warrior on this, guess it is what we should expect from someone like you.
Gabes, you are only human and I hope you can enjoy your 3 day weekend regardless of the no news on your application. I know we all grabbed onto TK for love of you, but no relationship should define who we are. You do what's in your best interests and follow your gut. We care - I know we can't hug you physically - but we care and if I could hug you, I would.

Thanks Connie and Olivia
I can feel the hugs.
TK is away on holidays, not in phone range. I got an email from him this morning. Since lmy divorce i have been very aware of not letting any relationship define who i am.
I am keen to sort out the work situation and remove current stresses regarding that. For both my health and so I have clearer head to figure out what the rest of stuff

no GF anzac biscuits, too many banned ingredients in them. (coconut, oats)
i have been on a very basic diet - down the track i might be able to adapt the receipe.
I was hoping to go to one of the memorial services or the extensive ex-serviceman march in the city. given the set back last night (poop accident in the car on way home) I am a bit excursion shy.

To be honest i wear depends under my cammies at work everyday and there is so much traffic off base and no where to stop to go if i need to so it makes me feel a lil safer when i have one on. plus i think the ruffles are cute!
