I'm wondering how many here have had microscopic colitis ruled out? Note that by "older adults", the title refers to over 50.

I saw another report in the literature, (I think I may have posted the link somewhere, but I don't recall where, at the moment), that pointed out evidence that microscopic colitis is at least as common as Crohn's disease and UC, and yet mainstream medicine, (and CCFA), continue to pretend that it's a rare disease. :roll:

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Its been known since 1976 and i agree it cant be that rare...they just havent looked for it that much...
