Well, I consider today to be the start of my official last week of glutens. I start prep tomorrow (Sunday) for my colonoscopy/endoscopy on Monday. Today is the best I have felt all week. I was feeling good until I ate some chinese food not too long ago. It only took minutes before

. You all know the drill. I plan on going GF by the end of the week if the GI doc says no more exams. I have had to try to explain to my mother that I won't be able to eat anything with wheat, rye, barley, oats, but she is having a hard time grasping this. She lives with me, so she cooks alot for us. My youngest daughter, Phoebe, said that she will eat whatever I eat "no matter how yucky it is." She is only 7, but is ready to sacrifice so I can feel better. What a sweetheart! I told her it won't be yucky, just lots of fresh foods, fruits and veggies. She is always looking out for whomever is not feeling good. She wants to be a nurse like her mommy!

My oldest daughter, Hosanna, 12, got her warning that come summer I am doing a 6 week GF trial with her because of different symptoms I have noticed with her, and to see if glutens has anything to do with her eczema. She is not too happy about it, but she will get over it.
I am not sure if you can have a positive blood test for celiac and have a negative biopsy, but we will see. If the prelimiary report from the doc holds true with celiac being the diagnosis, I will definitely watch my daughters more closely. I will try to keep you updated on the endoscopy and enterolab results when I get them. I was sure hoping I would have them by now. Tuesday will be three weeks.
Well, I guess that is all for now. I am not looking forward to tomorrow, but you gotta do what you gotta do........
Til next time!
