Dogtor J quote I think you'll like

Post by JLH »

"One-quarter of what you eat keeps you alive. The other three-quarters keeps your doctor alive." (Egyptian Hieroglyph found in an ancient tomb.)

Mary Beth, you understand all Dogtor J's information far better than I could ever hope to do.

Oh Joan, I don't think so. But, I have worked hard at understanding lectins in disease because I beleive Dogtor J, Dr. Fine and Dr. Cordain in that lectins are the culprit. I think each one of them is on the right path - maybe they don't have all the answers but they are paving the way for the future. I think people like us are responding more positively than their peers and they are brave for risking lots of ridicule. Again, the Blood Type Diet could be bunk (probably is), but I think it has some popularity because it addreses lectins and people feel better - again, not necessarily the answer.

Now that's a truism if I've ever seen one.

Hmmmmmmm. I didn't realize that junk food was a problem back in those days. Obviously, people have a real knack for seeking out foods that are bad for them.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
