Good weekend

Post by Gabes-Apg »

the best news is no episodes of D.

i have managed to get the balance of diet / natural therapy / small amt of Cholestyramine and loperamide working

TK came home from his two week holiday on Saturday, he is alot more settled, and more 'in the moment'.
We had some champagne with a yummy 'gabe ingredients' dinner. he was alot more empathitic about my 'tummy' he even questioned about me taking meds and i said that alienation was really starting to get to me and i have to find the balance so i can enjoy socialising and having a glass of champagne.

Had the chat with Tex on sunday morning. obviously sat night is not ideal chat night ...
tex and i reminised about our musical talents

it was public holiday today , TK went home about 11am so it was good to have quiet day, lots of rest, all my meals and snacks for the week are prepared, so bring on the week. i have job interview tomorrow

Have a great week everyone

Thanks everybody...interview has been postponed till thursday.
luckily i had had a good weekend and my digestion has been really good today and I coped well with the roller coaster of life.
it still feels like i am in an episode of the amazing race. some good times, in amongst the challenges but not quite seeing the finishing line yet.

que sera sera
So true Gabes, After one month of no D, I am in day 2 of a flare......

Could it be, red grapes ?...
Or could it be, avocado?...
Or something undeclared in a beef stew (even when my host knew not to use flour or diary)?.... or frankly anything else?.....
que sera sera.....

Sorry I could not make it scan but u get the idea....

Love ant

P.S. I would bet on the red grapes with skin..... I was hoping to up my osteoblasts, but of course if they produce a flare that is no hope for osteoporosis! "catch 22" !

Ant,

Grapes reliably clean me out slick as a button, if I eat more than just a few of them.

Gabes,

You have a lot in common with Doris Day, not the least of which is your attitude. She too had a physical problem that drastically influenced her life. Did you know that she originally intended to be a dancer, but a car accident injured her legs while she was still in her teens, so she began to take singing lessons? Obviously, she didn't let physical issues control her life, either.

Best of luck with the interview. I have a hunch that Thursday will be a good day.

THanks Tex

well the interview has been postponed *again* the manager apologise profusely stating it was not his choice that the VP directed it based on workload and deadlines.

pretty peeved that i shaved my legs, painted my toenails and ironed a skirt, did my hair, FOR NO GOOD REASON!!!!

just another road block in the game of life which is the amazing race...........

Gabes I was just wondering how things went today, but if I understand it well it is postponed for the second time. So when will it be now?

Ant, about grapes, they are on my suspicious list, for a while I ate them and liked me a lot, but after a week I gave up. Back to the bananas, apples and pears.
