Article is pretty accurate til it gets to treatment! When they get to drugs they start with some of the most dangerous first.

The fiber thing.. geeze..they should know better by now!

I agree on the fiber issue. As part of my new no GF diet starting this week i had my favorite lunch, a nice big salad... I regretted that later

Otherwise the article was pretty good in a basic informational sense

There does seem to be a particular link between microscopic colitis and autoimmune diseases, as in celiac sprue, also known as celiac disease. Caused by an immunologic reaction of the intestine to wheat, barley, rye, and oats, celiac sprue is a digestive disease that damages the small intestine and interferes with absorption of nutrients. Its hallmarks are chronic diarrhea and weight loss.

And yet........there is not even a slight suggestion in the treatment section of this article that diet might also be considered......

Why am I not surprised?
