Is it any wonder that most GI doctors are either confused or intimidated by the disease? MC is one complex puppy.
Speaking of Microsoft Publisher, have you tried Scribus? There's a learning curve with it also, but it's an excellent publishing program, and it's free.

Sribus
HI Tex:
Sorry, I read your post about Scribus the other night, delayed responding as I wanted to read more posts and then forgot to respond. No, I haven't ever heard of Scribus, but I will check it out. I run two Literacy programs, one where we refurbish older computers and give them to low income adults and families, and the other, free computer courses for adults and seniors. In both of these programs many people do not have the money to purchase MS Publisher or Word, so am always looking for free alternatives for them ( I do recommend Open Office to them.) Thanks for mentioning it.

Linda,
I don't use Word, either, (I use Corel's Perfect Office Suite, with Quattro Pro, etc.), and I've never even tried MS Publisher, but I found that after I studied the examples in the Scribus manual, it was pretty straightforward to set up the templates needed, for whatever type of project you're working on, and the text from whatever word processor you use, will flow right into the templates, slick as a whistle.
You're most welcome, and I hope it suits your needs for those worthy programs.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
