I must have done something right!

Post by Linda in BC »

I must have done something right! Because this morning I had an "almost normal" movement.. gasp!! Now I just have to figure out what it was! The problem is that I did a few things different yesterday. Firstly, I took Boswellia. I had seen on a few sites that some people were taking it for inflammation of the gut (it is derived from Myrrh apparently) so ordered some weeks ago. It came about the same time as the LDN and I did not want to try too many new things at once so delayed starting it. Yesterday I felt settled enough on the LDN to try something new so I took 150 mg of Boswellia in the evening (a daily dose is supposed to be anywhere from 300 - 600 per day, in several doses.) But I also switched from soy creamer to almond milk in my coffee. And although not completely wheat free, my diet yesterday was very plain (no spices, vegies or fruit of any kind except 1/4 of a peeled apple.)

so now I have to decide which of the three things to continue so I can figure out what did it...
I'll keep you all posted.

Linda,

Good for you. I'm guessing it was either less wheat or soy, (or both), but who knows? Maybe you're extremely sensitive to Boswellia. :whatever: Never look a gift horse in the mouth.

Yay Linda! It just makes your whole day and outlook better when you start out "normal" or close to it. I'm anxious to see your enterolab test results. Continued good luck, JoAnn

Tex, you are probably right that it has to do with less wheat and soy, but I have been eating very plain and avoiding wheat (had quite a few wheat free days) in the last couple weeks. Only when I took the Boswellia and cut out the soy, did it seem to work so I think it was a combination of all three. As long as I was still having the soy creamer, even if i ate no wheat, I would still react and then think that going GF was not helping. I know this is what has been pointed out before and often.. I am just saying that what has been happening to me is probably living proof of this!

Had wheat yesterday, ( quite a bit) and was not as good this morning, though surprisingly still pretty good.
