Subject line cut me off, but the question is: Did your "joint aches" feel identical to PMS joint aches?
I'm wondering because at around the date that I suddenly began getting diarrhea (April 27), I was experiencing the classic PMS joint aches, which I didn't think anything of, because I was expecting my period. In fact, I thought the diarrhea was from PMS. But after my period began and the diarrhea persisted, I realized that the diarrhea was unrelated.
I continued having joint aches, and thought it was from my period, even though historically, the joint aches disappear by the time I start truly flowing. After my period ended, I continued feeling the joint aches and still thought it was related to prostaglandins from my monthly cycle.
Many times I have had joint aches about mid-cycle, that were identical to PMS joint aches. But this time, I was experiencing them daily, and it wasn't mid-cycle. It was continuing right through my period and in the days right after my period ended.
The aching was in my neck, lower back, wrists and ankles, and it felt exactly like PMS joint aches. They were not persistent, but would come and go.
A few weeks after the onset of diarrhea, the joint aches outright vanished and have not returned. Could this have been the MC ? What did YOUR joint aches feel like? They made me want to crack the joints where I felt it (like in PMS). It felt really good to crack my neck and crack my back.
Thanks ahead of time for your feedback. I was diagnosed I think May 23 after colonoscopy.
