Gloria--sorry I didnt respond earlier but I just saw your message--

We bought the type that keeps things cold--forgot where the heck we plug into-- but will find out from Lou--

It does the job for us---keeps everything cold--we pack it with sodas yogurts- and cold cuts plus bread---some bananas--

This way we just reach back and grab what we want to drink and for me its perfect--cus I make a sandwich--have a yogurt etc-

We do stop -naturally to stretch the body--
Our friend,who has an RV, suggested it to us and we luve it--
Naturally sizes vary--so ours fits on the floor behind the driver and it saves time rather than stopping for a snack--

Thank you, Barbara. I'll be anxious to read what Louie has to report about the plug. How are you able to open the door when it is sitting on the floor of your vehicle? What kind of vehicle do you put it in?

We are planning on buying a new vehicle this fall. My #1 criteria is that I can put a refrigerator (or freezer or combo) in it. I can only eat lamb, pork and turkey, so I must bring all of my meats with me on a trip and keep them frozen.
