Too Exhausing

Post by kimtg68 »

What a day! My just turned 20 year old moved out. He is SO lazy! I felt like a slave driver. What is going on with this young generation. I'm almost 42 yrs old and outworked him and his friend. They kept sitting down and I kept working and motivating them to do the same. Eleven hours after the start, it's done! WHEW!
This was for me a bad discission BUt we ordered pizza since we were too busy for me to stop to cook anything. Urgh! I've known that he has occassional potty issues but it SO came to light for me today. We both ate the pizza and we were both cramped up and sick to our stomach's. There MUST be some form of heridity thing here. So now the mom factor has kicked in and with all I'm learning I'm trying to tell him that he's going to have to start figuring out foods that affect him and avoid them. HELLO mom! Practice what you preach! I ate the pizza too  My family link to this entire thing are coming to light for me. WOW!
I'm wiped out and going to bed. Nite all!

Kim moving out may be a good thing for him. Life has a way of helping to focus ones efforts...

I know in my case I moved at at age 18 (really needed to get out) and I have never regretted it.

Too bad about the pizza, I have had a few occasions that some was offered to me. All I needed to do was remember the stabbing pains that came the last time I ate something I should not have.

I hope you get a chance for some rest.

Joe, Joe, Joe! You are so correct. As soon as I felt that stabbing pain in my right upper rib cage area I thought, "What was I thinking!@!!!!!" I know I can be stubborn, but COME ON! That was just stupid of me! HAHAHAHA! I'll learn one of these days  My 20 year old that I was moving also had some bathroom issues after eating the pizza. Oh BOY! May have another gastro problem in the family.

I love my boys but ready for them to move into the real life and start learning instead of leaning.....on ME! It is definitely time! Knowing me as the mom I am I will still worry and still cook meals and try to help some. I never want my kids to go without eating. This will be a good experience and a needed one for sure. I still have a 21 year old step son that needs to step out and do the same. My 18 year old step son is living with his mom now and probably will be for a long time. But that leaves my youngest step son who I've raised since he was 7, he is now 16, and the best kid of the bunch. I have greater hopes for him. He's SO responsible for his age and such a good kid. Life can be so strange. He was the quietest of them all for sooo many years and has now turned out to have learned the most. Parenting is SO tough!

Seriously, I need to call it quits and go to bed. Tomorrow is father's day and will be busy again. NITE to all.

Good luck with all of them Kim, it sounds like you have had your hands full. It is funny how much each each child in the same family is so different. Leaving the nest will do them good.
