the lovely Anne-Laure (french lady who is our project support for the bid, whom has been my angel during my stay here)
when we did the internet order for my goodies last week, we ordered a premix cake that was GF/SF/DF. She made it last night and bought it into the office today. (plus some other home made goodies for the rest of the office)
so far... the GF/SF/DF cake is the favourite amongst the group!
there has been quite a few, ' you wouldn't now it was GF' type comments. it has made me homesick for my savoury muffins..
myself with anne-laure and her wonderful creation

Wow! That was a nice thing for her to do. Evidently you have made quite a hit in that office.
That completes the transition from potty time last night, to party time, today.

i am clicking my heels three times and looking for the yellow brick road that will take me to the land of oz! (and I definately dont need a scarecrow, tinman, or lion to get me there, just sleep)
in 24 hours i will be on the plane heading home!
i have effectively finished my authoring, woo hoo.....(its 5pm here and the deadline for our documents is 11pm) the first high level review starts in brisbane australia in 7 hours time
today i have the post flare symptoms of swollen, aching joints but no digestion issues.

Gabes what a wonderful co-worker and incredible treat I'm sure. Thanks for sharing that. I'm glad you will soon be home and having some Gabes food soon.
au revior france..... heading back to my bonza homeland. ozziestralia.....
finalising my extraction from the bid team office, head off to the airport in 2 hours.
again merci boucoup to EVERYONE for your support for this journey.
by the time i get home i would have been away from home just shy of 3 weeks.
in this time i have only had 3 - 4 minor reactions, and 1 middle of range 1 hour on the toilet type reaction.
i have only increased the questran dose by 40% and with that i am still taking less than half the dose prescribed by the GI specialist when i was first diagnosed
i have only used the loperamide (more so as a safety precaution) twice (i tablet each time)
considering this trip has been 6 months after diagnosis and chronic symptoms, I strongly believe adopting strict strict GF/YF/SF/ and now DF diet, eating my bland, gooey, easy to digest meals from a small base of ingredients, being patient, not trying to rush the process is what got me to this point.
and complimenting that process is acceptance of the changes MC bought to my life, via the wonderful support of this family.
Take that MC..... in Mel Gibson, brave heart style you can take away our foods, but you cant take away our FREEDOM!!!!
