They apparently didn't want patients who already had been struggling with D for many years...... it would no doubt interfere with their statistics, since they only looked at 27 patients.
I would be fired by P&G (and even Roche or J&J) if I suggested to their marketing people that a quantitative survey had validity for a segment with only a 27 size sample. Obviously their research departments do not adhere to the same standards as the people they hire to flog the stuff!
