Natural Chicken May Not Be As Natural As Some People Think

Hi All,

Hopefully, USDA will get it's act together soon, and change the labeling laws, because as it now stands, chicken labeled as "Natural" can legally be "injected", which creates a rather misleading situation, IMO.

Obviously, some manufacturers will do anything they can get away with.

You know Tex I have been starting to source my chicken from a local farm for just this reason. The more I read and find out, the more I am finding that I prefer to work with local farmers; fortunately I live out in the country a bit, so there are many choices locally.

I am in the same situation as Joe, being out in the country, and have gone to local chicken, produce, etc from the Amish no less than 1/2 mile from my. Much, much safer and way fresher.
