It's 12:14 and I'm hungry - waah  To make it more fun, it will be 103 here today and we have 1 working toilet in our house (master bath renovation still in progress  ) all male household members may have to pee outside this evening

Got the "golightly" chillin' in the fridge...Mike took tomorrow off so we are planning to stay up late, play cards while I do shots of "golightly" every 10 min - he'll drink something a little more festive

I'm soo hungry - and watching Food Network isn't helping!

Mary,

I believe that's the first time I've heard of someone making a party of the prep process. Good for you.

Good luck with the procedure.

Mary that's certainly a new way of looking at colonoscopy preparation. Whats the saying "When life hands you lemons make lemonade..."

Good luck with the procedure

Dear Mary

It is wonderful how you can "make light" of 'golightly' and the prep!! Good luck with the 'procedure'.

Best, Ant

Gag - almost done with half the jug! I'm finding using a shotglass to be the most manageable swig size...the taste isn't bad - just WAY too much volume!

Barbara is right - there's got to be a better way! Oh Barb - kids are 14 (and he's already 5'10"!) 12 and 7. School year is off to a busy start...

Gotta run (Literally  )

Good Luck CA Mary!

Let us know how it went.

At least one GI practice in this country allows patients to use vodka as a clear liquid! Now wouldn't that be something!!!

Love,

Polly

It's gettin' ugly! Slugged down 3 glasses so far and partially threw up the last one. I have *no* idea how I will get the rest down after enduring that  I'll just do as much as I can between now and 9 am, at which point will have to be good enough!

Yes, you get to that point where you say "Enough is enough!" Usually by then, it is.

Good luck with the procedure.

FWIW, when I used it, about a half a gallon was my limit, too. After that point, nausea becomes an overwhelming issue, (for me, at least).
