Naty I have not had a chance to say hello yet. I was diagnosed in April and am so glad that I have found this site and the collection of wonderful people here. The advice here has been second to none, and has been a 'life saver' as far as technical issues and overall personal support. You have already been given the best advice around.

Here is a link that Tex mentions in another post about getting the most out your doctors visit.

Hey thanks for the links, still taking all this info in.

Random question, I have had tendonitits in my wrists since 2003, could this be linked to the MC? And, I should mention it to my GI shouldn't I (I forgot last time as I was full of cold and didn't really take any info in)

It's possible that the tendonitis may be connected with MC, but usually, joints are more likely to be inflamed, than tendons. I doubt that your GI doc will place any relevance on that observation, but it certainly shouldn't hurt anything to mention it.

I didn't want to create a whole new thread for this question so just posted to the end of my newbie thread....

So, what are the penguins about? They are cute but are confusing me!

They are simply crude indications of the approximate number of posts written. IOW, as your post count increases, and reaches certain thresholds, the system will automatically change the "penguin" display status. If I recall correctly, the first change comes after 50 posts.

The stars that you see under the avatars for some of us, are indicators of the number of years of membership.
