Rich I have looked at a few and they look great. No Soy, Dairy or Gluten. Sounds like a winner. I will have to try these. Thanks for posting this

Rich,

Some here have eaten Lära bars. Some flavors contain nuts and they are fairly high in fiber/sugar/carbs. But if you can tolerate them, they are great. I used to eat them, but no longer can because of the dates (fruit).

Hi Rich,

I have no trouble with them at all. Usually keep one in my handbag as emergency food for when I am out.

Probably depends on where you are up to in your progress.

I eat them all the time. They are my emergency food and they keep well in my purse! I just make sure to chew the little nut pieces well. The cherry flavor is my fav. Surprisingly, the chocolate is the least interesting. A listserve I'm on had a long discussion about the availability of Kind Bars - everyone raved - so I plan to try those next. Lara bars taste like food, not like icky sports bars.

I like the cherry the best too. I wonder though, if the fiber is too much for me right now.

P.S. For those who can remember, the cherry ones remind me of McDonals's cherry pies...

I just discovered another DELICIOUS bar while on my lunch break. Glenny's Fruit and Nut Energy Bar. I had the Cashew and Almond. Certified GF and non-dairy, and no soy ingredients, although the facility processes soy. I plan to buy in bulk!
