It says that on the cover of my book! My mum saw it today and laughed her head off at it!

I think that should be what everyone who has to keep a poo diary should call it!

I ended up back at the hospital for another blood test today because there was a lot of blood in my pee  However I get the results of these new tests back tomorrow as it is an emeregency apartently. Never mind i'll deal with that problem when i come to it

Naty
in line with our PP tact of discussing anything

quite a few people have had urine/bladder issues ie infection due to the situation of dealing with watery D
(there are a few posts discussing this)

and also that your immunity might be a bit low due to the weight loss and decrease in nutrition absortion

it will get better!!! i can guarentee it!

I believe you

I'm not in any pain though which confused me completley, but i still thought I'd best ring my GP to see what they thought I should do (It does say on my Pentasa tablet leaflet thingy that blood in urine is a rare side effect) and they wanted me to do a blood test today and take in a urine test tomorrow when i go to see them, so this is what I am doing/have done.

I just don't appreciate the MASSIVE bruise on my arm now! :S

It is indeed, I just hope it doesnt ache too much (I'm at work later and have to carry trays of food)

WHY DO I WORK IN A BAKERY WHYYYYY????

Anyway, it's just kinda bummed (pun intended) me out having to 'abuse' (i say that when i need to go to the drs) the NHS so much this week (this will be three times in a week, a new record!) but I know it is important to go and be on the safe side of things.

Naty,

If that's the only bruise you have, then it was probably just due to either an inexperienced nurse, or an unlucky nurse. That happens sometimes. If you bruise easily, though, as a rule, then you are probably low on the "B" vitamins, and you need to take a good multivitamin. If you already told us that you're taking a multivitamin, I apologize for having poor memory.

I work there suprisingly easily, for now! However i do only work there when I am in York for summer, easter and winter these days, but once i finish uni i plan to leave (it started as a saturday job when i was 15) because I can't work somewhere so tempting if/when i get intolerances to certain food stuffs.

Feel free to laugh away, my manager and collegues all laugh at me now, and i find it ironic that i work in one of the worst places you can with IBD!

And Tex, I am on multi-vits atm, I think i have said something in another post, but who knows??? it is a mystery to me. Also I think there are three reasons to this amazing bruise... 1- I bruise easily (I have a lot of bruises on my knees due to my clumseness!), 2- Vit defficiency (sp?) and 3- She took the blood from the same arm that it was taken from on tuesday, so I still had a bruise from that!

Dear Naty

Suggest you check out D-Mannose for UTI.

Some of us think it can also help with MC. It seems to wash bacteria off the lining (epithelial tissue) of various parts of our GI tract.

Best, ant
