We lived on the lower east side of the city and many a day we would take a walk from our apartment and ended up nearing where the devastion happened--
I put the TV on that morning and the first thing I heard was a guy saying HOLY shi* a plane rammed the twin towers-
So for the past 9 years I sit here and watch the entire progaming--and the dedications to all those who lost their lives--and cry--with an aching heart
That day-my kids called me immediately--as they always did for my birthday--but now it was tears and the usual --didnt the airports know something was wrong --and on-
Then when the 2nd one turned around and slammed--I sat in disbelief--and when they ring the bell at those times for a minute of silence~~~~
So for the past nine years--I sit and rewatch the whole tradgey--listen to all the names--see all the flowers thrown into the pond of water---cry with all the people-
Today they had some of the relatives of those killed --read their names and some saying how much they are luved--missed and one man who is now a granpa---
I also ache for the others--Pa. and the Pentagon--
After it was over we took a ride to Lynn's place and spent a wonderful day there--great cook and she made a delicious birthday cake for me--so the day ended beautiful for me-
Especially with all the
greetings from all of U==Thank U so much---for thinking of me~~
