Post by IDreamInColor »

I have thyroid graves disease, and MC, and also agoraphobia, panic/anxiety disorder. Just curious if the panic affliction is common in autoimmune and MC people.
I've had the agoraphobia, panic/anxiety since I was a little girl, I'm 44 now.

I can't say that I suffer from panic attacks. I know of once at least that I had one. There may have been others that were milder. I have hypothyroid. Take synthroid every day. Anxiety--- to a degree. Any amount of stress causes my BP spike.

I don't have a diagnosis for any of these things (except the thyroid and BP... and MC of course... oh, I also have Barrett's esophagus).

Don't know if that is really what you are looking for.

I had graves disease and am hypothyroid (after being treated for hyperthyroid) - also take synthroid every day. I had panic attacks while growing up, but they abated when I learned various techniques of how to deal with them. I have always had the "gut reaction" in response to stress, and am generally prone to anxiety. Lastly, but not leastly, I was diagnosed with MC about 6-7 years ago.

All the best,
