Hi Barbara I hope it works out for you I have been surprised at how much it helps. I'm glad Gabes introduced me to her acupuncturist and this area of treatment overall it has been helpful. I view it as another good tool to have in the toolbox
I tried it for two sessions. It caused the D to get worse, but I believe that's a good sign, in that the energy was flowing - I think I was detoxing. I had to stop because I got the bug that's going around after my second appointment, which has hung on for weeks. I could have stuck it out but I was so run down I decided I'd put it on hold for a bit. When I get stronger I will have another go at it.
Hi Barbara, just a note from a newbie at getting needled, for me it took a few weeks of sessions to really take hold. I did notice after just a few sessions a reduction in pain and muscle stiffness.
These benefits would initially last just a couple of days after the session, but slowly increased to last a good week. I did eventually change my schedule to twice a week for a while.
I was very thankful for the sessions in Brisbane, Shauno was very good and really helped me feel better after the long plane ride. I also went a second time to see him just before the trip back. what a difference it made.
