Dear Rich and Idreamincolor;

Being able to really say how lousy we are feeling to a group of people who completely understand because they have been there too, is the beauty and a prime function of this forum, so you said it so right Rich, you don't need to suffer in silence and you are not alone. We hear and we care. One truly senses when some one puts out a cry of distress, that there is a huge outpouring of warmth, love and empathy from all over this board. Not too long ago there was a post here jokingly saying that maybe the gene for non-celiac gluten sensitivity is also the gene for kindness and compassion because there seem to be so many exceptionally wonderful, caring people on this site. . :grin:

Idream, are you taking any medication or treatment besides the diet? Some people here have had improvement using a product called L-Glutamine (in addition to diet), a white powder that you mix with juice and that heals the gut. It is not very expensive and is available on-line.

Rich, I am very surprised that the pepto has done nothing at all to slow things down! I believe you are right that you should have seen some improvement by now or should be seeing some tomorrow. Has anything worked (immodium , lomatil? ) I would say you are in quite a flare. The entocort worked at first, is that right?
A small blessing is that you sound like you are at home right now.. it would have been even more awful if you were still on the road, but I suppose you will be again soon, and it would sure be good to get this flare stopped before then!!
Maybe tex has some suggestions??? ...
I am hoping both you see some improvement soon. Sending warm, healing thoughts your way,
Linda
