25-OH Vit D3 = 22.62 ug/l
Vitamin B12 = 118 pg/ml
Folic Acid = 2.2 ng/ml
End Jan 2010
Vitamin D, 25 Hydroxy (calciferol) 29.3 ng/mL; 73.3 mnoL/
Vitamin B12 (By CL) Conv. unit = 384 pg/mL
Oct 2010
Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy Total (EIA) 60 ng/mL; 150 nmoL/L
Vitamin B12 (by CL) 252 pg/mL; 186 pmol/L
Folate (by CL) 10.8 ng/mL; 24.5 nmol/L
If I have this right my B12 is down a bit but still OK and my Vitamin D is up (but maybe could go further). Since I am taking supplements for all these it suggest I should continue supplementing.
Perhaps the most interesting reading is that my vitamin D is now into normal territory (at least by traditional medical standards) while before it was the main deficiency. This improvement in vitamin D coincides with an improvement in "poo" D. Cause and/or effect
I intend to keep supplementing vitamin D, but am interested in any comments on this to help me interpret the results.
All best, Ant
