Tex,
The only shot that was available had H1N1 and two other strains... so that is what I got.

Hmmmmm. The other one probably hasn't been distributed, yet.

Thanks,

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Both flu shots were available here for over a month. A pharmacist from our church was giving both types between services. I chose to not get one.

My GP tested my Vitamin D levels in the spring, and I was at 48.6ng/mL which is marginal. I've bumped up my Vitamin D, and am pretty religious about washing my hands and using hand sanitizer. My husband is a medical courier so he goes into nursing homes and assisted living places every day. He got a flu shot last year, and no doubt will get one this year. I wish he would do better with the hand washing. A few months ago he was felled with a nasty stomach virus that he knew he got from a nursing home because of the smell that assaulted him when he opened the door. The rest of us didn't get it, thankfully, though I did OD on Lysol, lol.

Hubby tends to refuse to get flu shots..if I don't get one..he brings the germs home to me... that is why I got one.. He almost never gets colds or flu... he has only had flu once in over 44 years...
