When I get my entocort from the GI doc he gives me a prescription for a year. Family doc will only do one month at a time since he isn't familiar with CC nor entocort..he has no other patients with CC or taking entocort. He was very helpful before I was diagnosed and got me to a doctor who finally did the right diagnosis...he lets me manage in any way I find that works:) He is always careful when prescribing medication so as not to upset anything to do with my guts..LOL
