Kari, Nestle really does know how to make one feel better. It never ceases to amaze me how empathetic she is. A guard dog she will never be.


JoAnn, Nestle just loves all the Trick or Treaters. She gave out more kisses last night than I gave out candy LOL Nestle is a very sociable dog and just seems to like everyone.

Polly, you really are a sucker for a good looking Golden... Of course Nestle IS the best looking dog around LOL It was fun making the pumpkins with the neighbors, I was surprised at how well the designs worked out when they were lit with a candle. All in all we had a great day.

Rich its great to hear from you. Thanks for that wonderful note regarding Will. He seems like a great member of the family. I have neighbor who has a shepherd, Nestle and Simon are great friends and we usually let those 2 run around especially in the snow. They will play until they both are exhausted. It is unfortunate that the media has played up perception that shepherds are 'mean' they certainly are not. They are a very loyal family dog and are great around kids.

Linda the original costume was a pumpkin as well, but early on Sunday when Eva (little girl next door aka Nestles best friend) was playing with Nestle and Nestle got into a muddy puddle. To save the day we piled Nestle (bathed), Eva and myself into the car and it was off to the pet store for another costume...
