Udi's Breads now available at Trader Joe's!

Post by Zizzle »

The DC Celiac listserve is all abuzz with the news that Trader Joe's now sells Udi's bread in their fresh bread section. It seems they carry a couple of sandwich breads and the plain bagels. They are priced at least $1.00 less than supermarket prices (i.e. $4 a loaf). I'm not sure this means every TJ has it yet, but at least it's true for the Washington, DC region.

Personally I'd prefer to buy it frozen because it molds so darn fast!! But I guess that's true of all breads at Trader Joe's.

Together with their brown rice tortillas, GF pancake mix, and wheat-free frozen waffles, TJ's is a great source of affordable, high-quality GF bread replacements.

Enjoy!!
