drinking Gatorade for magnesium

Granny,
How often are you drinking the Gatorade and how much per day? I bought a bottle ( a little less than a litre in size) and drank it over one day, and it seemed to help. But it cost about $2.49. I noticed there was powder you could mix yourself. Could I use that, do you think?

Hi Linda,

I buy the 12 pack of gatoraid for $9.90 at the supermarket - they are 20 oz. bottles, which sounds like the size you bought??? Anyhow, someone recently told me that the powder has exactly the same ingredients, and is a lot cheaper, so I'm thinking of switching. I drink at least one 20 oz. bottle a day.

We just bought the powder..much easier to bring home. Made up a quart and put it in the fridge..hubby and I can then drink a glass and not have to drink a whole bottle:) Making a quart at a time every few days I think will save money.
