I have been away for a while, but always thinking of you. I am in the freezing UK and do not usually have access to the internet. So this is a hurried HAPPY CHRISTMAS
When I get back to regular internet access I will spend some quality time back on the site (over 1200 new messages and 11 new members...yeaks!)
One piece of good news I found a gluten, dairy, soy free Christmas pudding! (Also still doing OK on one Entocort a day)
Ant - been wondering how you were doing, so thanks for the update.
Have a great Christmas. The weather there is certainly appropriate for the White Christmas that everyone seems to crave.
It's good to see that you're MC is under control, so that you can fully enjoy that Christmas pudding.

Merry Christmas , Ant! Thanks for thinking of us and popping in. We miss you! Glad to hear the 1 Entocort a day is working. Have some of that pudding for us!

Hi Ant and everyone else, I just want to add my Merry Christmas to all. I've been consumed the past few weeks with Christmas preparations at home, school, and constant activities so I haven't posted. The good thing is MC is not the foremost thought on my mind. Last year I was in a terrible flare, and this year I almost feel normal. I say this to give others hope that you will find your way and things will get better. It takes a ton of patience and constant vigilance, but it's worth it. Thanks to all of you for sharing your lives and experience that have helped me find my way. This board is such an important and indispensable part of my life, the greatest gift I could ever receive. Love JoAnn

Merry Christmas to you too. I hope your travels are going well in merry old England. You certainly are having some winter weather... That's great about the pudding. Is this something that can be ordered online?
Hello Ant, thanks!! I am too late to wish you a merry christmas. I hope you had a good one in the UK. At least you had a white one. Like me. Really we didn't have white christmases here for ages and now we have to in a row. I hope you enjoyed your christmas pudding. Glad to hear you are doing okay again on one entocort a day. I have to admit, your attempt to stop your medication, the flare up that followed and being back on entocort again has stopped me to give it a try too. I am still trying to cutting down the dose by opening the capsules, taking out a third works, but if I take out more, my stomach already start gurgling again. Probably our bowels need more time to recover.
I want to thank you for is your great diet card. Although I have to admit I haven't used it so far. I haven't felt that comfortable yet in Jordan, that I went out for dinner (that has of course nothing to do with your card, but with my trust in Jordan diet cooking or better said lack of trust). Of course, also many thanks for all your supportive and inspiring posts in the last year. I have great admiration for your positive life attitude.
I hope the new year will bring your business back on track and the MC further under control. I wish you all the best for 2011.
Happy Christmas Ant and do hope Father Christmas visited you.
Can you see if you can send the name of the fruitcake you found? I will right my son and DIL and see if they can send one over to me. I am presuming you found it in the UK.
Love and Happy 2011!
Maggie
